Just who is the author of life on this earth?

Our God dreams up children and brings them to birth

“Let’s wait to have kids” But why wait? Is that love?

God longs to fill heaven with souls up above

“You can’t take it with you” (well, children excepting)

So open your heart to God’s Will- be accepting!

IF well-grounded reasons for waiting are found

Use N.F.P. methods! They’re morally sound

Each month, reassess and discuss with your mate:

“How can we be freed from this reason to wait?”

Keep asking each other and God in deep pray’r

The Lord who moves mountains will show you His care

Yes! N.F.P. works, if it’s properly used

Stressed? Pray! And your souls soon will be grace- suffused

Quest? Seeking Christ’s will, “letting Him be in charge, Hon!”

Nest? Jesus may open your heart to a large one

Blessed? Virtues, self-sacrifice, grow in big portions

Safe? Yes, unlike pills, IUDs, and abortions

Zest? Blooms because sacrifice proves love to spouse

Best? Kids will your joy and your holiness rouse

I must -confess -this is -no jest

Folks do -profess -they are -so blessed

When they -embrace -this time -ly grace

His plans -some times -their plans -displace
