Just “eat and drink and merry up”
for death will come tomorrow?
This kind of life can’t satisfy
it’s bound to end in sorrow

God’s earthly gifts give happiness, but
only such that’s fleeting
So turn to Christ the Bread of Life, to
find your life’s true meaning

“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” (Jn.6:51)
