When a troll can’t control written rage
What’s best, to engage, or ignore?
I’ll look past the screen curtain
To glance a hurt person
See his cursin’ with pity enhanced
And respond not in kind
But with kindness! And pray
That one day, joyful grace he will find
And post cheerfulness…
Rather than rants
To miss not forests for the trees
Explore a forest’s leafy bliss!
To make not molehills into mounts
Go mount a hill, or wade a lake!
To fly not quickly off the handle
Unhand your phone for pole and fly!
To eek out nauseous navel gazing
Raise a scope! At planets, peek
To nip depression in the bud
Your green-thumb sessions do not skip
If ‘tween that rock and that hard place
Find space to think; go bum a beach!
To dodge those hellish fears and doubts
Check out! And get… heck out of dodge
See nature’s gifts with child-eyes
A while spent outside conveys…
