If rich in funds but not in faith, you’re really rather poor

If you know lots, but don’t know Christ, you don’t know what life’s for

If you will never miss a game, and end up missing church

Then missing from your life will be the peace for which you search

If you’re too booked to crack the Book of scripture every day –

You will not hear God speak! Nor stay the course of heaven’s way

Your Maker waits to strengthen you for all of life’s demands

He’ll help you place a slot with Him in daily scheduled plans

To lavish love and pour on peace as you spend time in prayer

So tell Him, “Make me hungry, God, to taste Your grace and care!”
